Something about love between two people who share a creative and professional pursuit seems so amazing to me. Someone who loves you partially because they can recognize your intellect and ambition. Someone who sees part of themself in you. They know more about you and how your mind works than most other people because they’re knowledgeable about the same things you are, they have been where you are, they have thought some of the same things you have. Whether romantic or platonic, I feel like this kind of love is just on another level.
You ever start mangling a phrase as a joke and then keep using it for so long that it just completely and inironically replaces that phrase in your vocabulary? And that spreads through your whole social circle?
